ROOF LEAK DETECTION · THERMAL IMAGING

Roof leak detection in Fort Worth & DFW — drone + thermal imaging, then an affordable fix.

A water stain on the ceiling doesn't tell you where the roof is leaking. Water can come in at a vent, a chimney, or a bad piece of flashing and run along the decking before it drips through somewhere else. RezComm finds the actual source, then fixes it, so you are not paying for patches that miss.

How we find the leak

Thermal imaging. Wet insulation and decking hold heat differently than dry material. Our thermal camera shows those wet areas so we can see where moisture is sitting without tearing open your roof or ceiling.

Drone and hands-on inspection. We fly the roof to spot lifted shingles, cracked tiles, and failed flashing, then walk it to confirm what we see up close.

Attic check. When we can, we look from the attic side for water trails, stained decking, and daylight coming through.

Common leak sources we find

Then we fix it

Once we know the source, you get photos, a written price, and the repair. See our roof repair page for the kinds of repairs we handle. If the leak came from hail or wind, start with a free storm report for your address.

Don't wait on a leak

Winter rain in North Texas turns small leaks into wet insulation, stained ceilings, and mold. If you see a stain, dripping, or a musty smell in the attic, have it checked now.

We serve Fort Worth, Crowley, Burleson, Mansfield, Arlington, Keller, Southlake, Weatherford, Granbury, Dallas, and surrounding DFW cities. Call or text 469-249-3221.

Common questions

Why can't I find where my roof is leaking?

Water travels. It can come in at a vent or flashing, run along the decking or a rafter, and drip onto your ceiling several feet away. That is why we trace the leak to its source instead of patching the spot where it shows up.

How does thermal imaging find a roof leak?

Wet insulation and decking hold heat differently than dry material. A thermal camera shows those differences as color, so wet areas stand out. It helps us see where moisture is sitting without tearing into your roof or ceiling.

Is leak detection worth it before a repair?

Yes. Finding the true source means you pay for one repair that works, instead of several patches that miss.

Can you stop the leak today?

For active leaks we can usually tarp or temporarily seal the area the same day or next day, then come back for the permanent repair.

How we find the leak: drone + thermal imaging + hands-on check

  1. AI drone scan. We photograph every slope from above and flag damaged, missing or lifted shingles, cracked tile and bad flashing.
  2. Thermal imaging. A thermal camera shows temperature differences on the roof and ceiling that can point to trapped moisture — so we know where to look instead of guessing.
  3. Hands-on confirmation. We check the suspect spots up close before we quote anything, so you only pay to fix what is actually wrong.

Thermal imaging is a tool to narrow down the problem — it does not see through every roof, so we always confirm by hand.

Why this saves you money

Many leaks come from one bad spot: a pipe boot, flashing at a wall, a cracked tile or a few missing shingles. Find that spot and the fix is often a small, affordable repair — not half a roof or a whole new one.
