Not every roof is a simple asphalt shingle job, and RezComm doesn't treat every roof like one. Our crews and our AI drone scan inspection process are built to cover the full range of roofing systems found across Dallas–Fort Worth, on both homes and commercial buildings.
What we work on
- Asphalt shingle — the most common residential roof in DFW, and where most of our storm-damage and insurance claim work happens.
- Concrete & clay tile — common on higher-end homes; requires different inspection methods since hail damage shows differently on tile than shingle.
- Metal — standing seam and panel systems, inspected for dents, seam integrity, and fastener backout.
- Slate & synthetic slate — specialty material requiring specific repair techniques to avoid cracking surrounding tiles.
- Commercial flat roofing — TPO, PVC, and EPDM systems on commercial and multi-tenant buildings, inspected for membrane damage, ponding, and seam failure.
Why the roof type changes the inspection
Hail damage on a tile roof looks nothing like hail damage on an asphalt shingle roof, and an inspector trained only on shingles can miss it entirely. Every RezComm inspection — whether it's a free AI drone roof scan or a hands-on walk of the roof — is matched to what the roof is actually made of, not treated as one-size-fits-all.
